Envolve and Community Partners Unite for Southgate Village Apartments
COLLEGE STATION, TX — Southgate Village Apartments, a recent acquisition by Envolve Communities, experienced an unfortunate setback when a gas line leak necessitated significant repairs. While the initial leak was quickly addressed, subsequent inspections revealed that additional gas valves and supply lines needed attention, requiring a more extensive and complex repair process.
Despite these challenges, the Southgate community has demonstrated remarkable resilience and unity. Envolve Communities, along with numerous local organizations and individuals, have come together to support the residents.
A Heartwarming Thanksgiving
Upon realizing that many of her residents would be unable to cook Thanksgiving dinner due to these gas issues, Southgate Village Community Manager Sabrina Mendez and her family went above and beyond by preparing a Thanksgiving meal for all residents. This heartwarming gesture exemplifies the power of community, the spirit of the holiday season, and the dedication of the Envolve Communities team to its residents.

Repairs and Resident Communication
We understand the importance of clear and consistent communication. We have ensured residents are kept informed of the repair progress through various channels, including on-site signage, community meetings, and resident calls. The repairs are progressing steadily, and we are pleased to announce that hot water has been restored to all units. The majority of the buildings’ gas service has been fully restored, and we anticipate a property-wide restoration in the coming days.
